Minimum Requirements :

Competence developed in some or all of the following areas: Environmental compliance / risk auditing, due diligence auditing, interpretation of monitoring data, industrial emissions calculations, energy auditing, mass balance development, EPA licence reports, EPA Works Approvals Personal Attributes ? Job Description :
The Environmental & Economic Solutions (EES) Work Group (WG) consists of innovators who apply significant experience and expertise to environmental, social and economic problems. EES is a dynamic group of multidisciplinary professionals numbering 37 individuals at the present time. Key practice areas include economics and policy, social and environmental planning, corporate sustainability, environmental technical services and waste management. The group currently maintains a portfolio of more than 150 diverse projects across a broad range of industry sectors. The Senior Environmental Engineer will primarily work with the technical services section, responsible for providing written and verbal advice in relation to EES projects to clients and staff. This will include environmental management, auditing, site assessments, environmental approvals and other areas in which our clients require assistance. Whilst a general practitioner is sought, previous experience or an interest in wastewater management, air quality management or cleaner production would be well supported. The Senior Environmental Engineer will manage projects, work with teams to prepare proposals, meet with clients, undertake project work as a team member and as a team leader. Responsibilities/Objectives ? Undertaking Environmental Audits, preparation of environmental approvals ? Provide technical advice to clients and staff in relation to environmental matters for projects. ? Provide advice to clients in relation to cost estimates, project durations and appropriate project delivery strategies. ? Facilitation of stakeholder meetings and communications ? Writing and reviewing technical reports, environmental approval applications and environmental management plans ? All aspects of Project Management, including management of budgets, timelines, teams and deliverables ? Liaison with industry and government clients, URS interstate and international offices and local colleagues. ? Writing technical reports for review by senior technical staff ? Assistance with business development and client management for existing and new clients ? Preparation of tenders and proposals ? Mentor junior staff in the development of general project management, project scheduling skills and technical skills. ? Support the Graduate Development program through presentations on previous projects The Senior Environmental Engineer will be encouraged to combine the technical role with internal URS management responsibilities as part of career development. ::
