Minimum Requirements :
Architecture and/or Civil Engineering undergraduate degree with a post-graduate degree in engineering or construction. 20 years of experience.
The successful candidate must have professional experience managing civil, construction, and environmental projects with emphasis on hazardous waste site remediation projects and conducting remedial investigations for Department of Defense (DOD) Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites associated with soil, groundwater and UXO projects. The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in design and construction of waste management facilities; developing construction, operational and closure plans for landfills; developing environmental monitoring and compliance plans and reports, design of landfill gas control systems; developing work plans and conducting remedial site investigations; developing remedial work plans and remedial design; preparing of construction specifications, contract documents, construction quality control and quality assurance plans as well as closure reports for CERCLA sites.. The candidate must demonstrate prior project management experience for Navy's CLEAN and RAC Installation Restoration (IR) Sites.
MS Office/CAD Light required. This candidate will have excellent communications and writing abilities. The candidate will be responsible for managing projects and meeting budget, schedule and quality requirements. Must complete URS project management certification.

The candidate will be a project manager in the URS Santa Ana Federal Facilities Projects Division. The candidate will be responsible for managing and executing environmental investigation and remediation projects, primarily at federal facilities. The majority of the projects will be at Navy installations in the Southwest (CA, AZ, NM, NV).
The Candidate will be responsible for managing technical and field teams. As the project manager, the candidate will be responsible for meeting project schedule, budget and quality of work. The candidate will report to the Federal Facilities Projects Division Manager.
The candidate will participate in federal project and business development meetings; participate and support the URS Santa Ana Geosciences group, if needed and work with other departments (e.g., planning, geotechnical, engineering, GIS, etc.) to become familiar with other URS capabilities and services.
