Job Description :
This is a full-time position for the Process and Energy Group of URS, a large national engineering firm. The company performs engineering projects for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. This work involves all aspects of the controls and instrumentation design from the conception through detailed engineering. The successful candidate will: . Lead projects requiring support staff under his/her direction . Be knowledgeable in the preparation of complete quality packages for the engineering, procurement, and construction of instrument and controls systems for our clients . Develop P&IDs . Generate specifications . Specify DCS and PLC equipment . Develop control logic diagrams . Develop instrument data sheets . Support field start-up including control system checkout and control loop tuning, troubleshooting and field logic revisions . Perform design tasks in accordance with accepted engineering practices and standards utilizing both manual and computer based methods . Execute his/her work in accordance with schedule and coordinate execution of projects with other disciplines and the project manager . Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields . Make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and represent the organization to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work XURS27X ::
