Minimum Requirements :
B.S. Degree in Engineering. 15 years experience in fossil-fueled power generation and retofit engineering including 5 years of project management. Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and designers with diverse experience levels and backgrounds to successfully execute due diligence assessments, front-end engineering and detailed design for new plants miscellaneous retrofits, including emissions controls upgrades. Experience with engineering budget estimating is required. Must possess a depth of experience and engineering judgment to provide credibility to efforts to market URS power design capabilities. Professional Engineering Registration required.

Job Description :
URS Representative responsible for client satisfaction and project deliverables, supporting acquisition and managing engineering execution of new power projects consisting of retrofit on existing coal-fired units including emissions upgrade projects, natural gas-fueled gas turbine combined cycle/cogeneration, and renewable energy projects. Provide oversight to the multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, project administrators, project controls representatives and procurement representative assigned to the project. Ensure client contract obligations are met, as required. Support URS business development activities. Responsible for adherence to URS Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Accounting policies and procedures. Specific Duties include: . Proposal development including development of engineering scope of work, budget and schedule. . Contract Negotiations. . Initiate setup of project in URS Accounting System. . Planning/Scheduling of resource requirements for project. . Coordinate design issues with teams and facilitate resolution of inter-discipline problems. . Respond to client requests in a timely manner and appropriate manner. . Document decisions made through all forms of communication with clients and team members. . Manage changes to engineering scope and obtain written client approval on all changes before proceeding with work. . Ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments from clients. . Interface and /oversight of construction and startup activities may be required. . Ensure proper closeout of project including transmittal of final documentation to client and URS electronic and hard copy filing. ::
