Job Description: Lead the geotechnical design practice for large earth structures including dams, landfills, mining projects, ponds, highways and bridges. Serve as project manager of medium- and large-sized design projects and provide Geo-Civil design leadership for existing major projects and clients. Provide Leadership in hiring and developing junior and mid-level engineering staff Demonstrate excellent communication skills including technical and proposal writing. Skills Utilized/Developed: The requirement to lead projects and personnel means that the following skill sets will be utilized on a regular basis Geotechnical Civil Design Project Cost Estimating Project Management Personnel Management Proposal Writing Marketing An advantage of a large office environment and an established team is the opportunity to further develop individual skill sets.
