Minimum Requirements :
High school or equivalent and 10 years piping design experience including the use of ERIS Software, version ESRI 9.1, ArcGIS suite ArcCatalog, Arcmap, and Arc Toolbox. Position requires experience in the following: - performing GIS data conversion/editing, - GIS map production, - spatial database management, - spatial analysis/reporting tasks, - designing, creating, editing, and maintaining, geodatabases and metadata for multiple projects. Position requires a general knowledge of pipline, highway, reailroad, river, and utility crossing permits Position also requires attention to detail and commitment to QA/QC, the ability to identify new GIS project opportunities inside and outside the company and the ability to work in a team environment.

Job Description :
Senior Pipeline Mapping Designer will design pipeline alignment sheets, land plats, and permit drawings with minimal supervision. The position will . Develop the above drawings using survey data and aerial imagery, . Cut alignment sheets using layout tabs plan and profiles, . Develop pipeline routes and create pipeline profiles using electronic survey data . Manipulate data between CAD and GIS projections, intelligent shape files, linked data, .
