Minimum Requirements :
BS in Civil or Architecture Engineering or related field and 5 years experience working on Civil Structural Engineering projects with emphasis in building and industrial facility design. Experience with ACAD or Microstation CADD applications in developing site plans, general arrangements, grading plans, steel and concrete details required. Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional presence, solid planning and organizational skills are required.

Job Description :
This position will be a key member of the URS Houston Civil/Structural(C/V) Group, and will be responsible for supporting a team of engineers and designers in the execution of the Project(s). An overview of the day-to-to tasks include: Preparing equipment support general arrangement drawings. Developing layouts, framing plans, sections and details. Development of quantity take-offs and estimates. Performing QA/QC for work performed by peers. Conduct site visits to assess site condition where required. Interact with clients or agency representatives as well as with multi-discipline and multi-office teams within URS. This position will report to the Civil/ Structural Group Leader. ::
