Job Description:
This position is for a field inspector for heavy highway construction projects located in Colorado. Ability to move across uneven ground, climb stairs, work in outdoor climates year-round up to 12 hours per day near construction equipment required. Ability to liFort and carry 50 pounds for 50 feet required. This would be an ideal position for a retired Engineering Technician, CEPM or Engineer who has worked on Colorado DOT construction projects and is looking for seasonal employment to supplement their retirement income. WORK ASSIGNMENTS COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE STATE OF COLORADO. TRAVEL REQUIRED AND WORK MAY REQUIRE TEMPORARY RELOCATION FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. In these uncertain economic times, URS is responding by providing non-traditional, flexible approaches to employment. This position is part-time and non-exclusive.
