Level E3 (Associate Programmer) Incumbent must posses a BS Degree and 2 years relevant work experience OR MS Degree OR 10 years equivalent specialized training and work experience. Level E4 (Programmer) Incumbent must posses a BS Degree and 4 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR MS Degree and 2 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR Ph.D. OR 12 years equivalent specialized training and work experience. Level E5 (Senior Programmer) Incumbent must posses a BS Degree and 6 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR MS Degree and 4 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR Ph.D. and 2 years relevant work experience OR 14 years equivalent specialized training and work experience.

Job Description :
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Level E3 (Associate Programmer) Performs programming of Microsoft Applications and ensures that the code; generated meets the general needs of the TOCDF individual departments, while meeting compatibility requirement for TOCDF. Interfaces with third party software in order to minimize re-entry of data and increase efficiency, including but not limited to Access based programs, DBF type data bases, and others. Incumbent will generate, test, document, and distribute code to users as required to support TOCDF. After assignments are made and a general concept is approved by this incumbent's lead, the majority of the work performed by this incumbent will be performed with little supervision. All work will be performed using existing TOCDF approved platforms including, but not limited to, the Microsoft suite. Level E4 (Programmer) Performs programming of Microsoft Applications and ensures that the code; generated meets the general needs of the TOCDF individual departments, while meeting compatibility requirement for TOCDF. Interfaces with third party software in order to minimize re-entry of data and increase efficiency, including but not limited to Access based programs, DBF type data bases, and others. Incumbent will generate, test, document, and distribute code to users as required to support TOCDF. After assignments are made and a general concept is approved by this incumbent's lead, the majority of the work performed by this incumbent will be performed with little supervision. All work will be performed using existing TOCDF approved platforms including, but not limited to, the Microsoft suite. In addition, this incumbent will be utilized to coordinate the data generated by the various TOCDF data bases to ensure that optimal performance and minimal loss of information occurs. Insures that Data Base integrity is maintained and that coordination if required between various functional areas is performed. Some supervision of programmers may be required. Level E5 (Senior Programmer) Performs programming of Microsoft Applications and ensures that the code; generated meets the general needs of the TOCDF individual departments, while meeting compatibility requirement for TOCDF. Interfaces with third party software in order to minimize re-entry of data and increase efficiency, including but not limited to Access based programs, DBF type data bases, and others. Incumbent will generate, test, document, and distribute code to users as required to support TOCDF. After assignments are made and a general concept is approved by this incumbent's lead, the majority of the work performed by this incumbent will be performed with little supervision. All work will be performed using existing TOCDF approved platforms including, but not limited to, the Microsoft suite. In addition, this incumbent will be utilized to coordinate the data generated by the various TOCDF data bases to ensure that optimal performance and minimal loss of information occurs. Single point entry of TOCDF data is the objective of the Information Systems department, this incumbent will be responsible for implementing a plan and processes related to obtaining this objective. This incumbent may lead departmental activities as assigned by the Support Services Director, and provide training of new and relative third party software to TOCDF as needed. ::
