Minimum Requirements :
BS Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures, Masters preferred. PE or ability to obtain within 1 year from date of hire. Must have a minimum of 5 years prestressed concrete or steel bridge design and detailing experience. Must have experience and ability to use MathCADD or Excel. Must have proficiency in the use of computer programs such as PRSTRS14, CAP18, STAAD, PCACOL or other related software. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description :
Applicant will be responsible for the design of highway, railroad or transit bridges including concrete, steel, prestressed concrete, and post-tensioned concrete. Includes preparation of design calculations, plans, technical specifications, reviewing shop drawings, and calculating quantities. Must have ability to instruct less experienced staff in the fundamentals of bridge design. Must be capable of working with little supervision. ::
