Minimum Requirements :
Bachelors Degree in Science, Environmental, Biology or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience. Familiarity with the environmental review process - candidate should have working knowledge and familiarity with the following: California Endangered Species act (ESA) Compliance and Federal ESA (Section 7 and Section 10) Consultations with USFWS; Terrestrial and/or Marine (e.g., eelgrass) biological habitat assessments; Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 404 and 401 Permitting; Streambed Alteration Agreements (pursuant to Section 1600 [et seq] of the CFG Code);CWA Section 404 and California Fish and Game 1600 (et seq) Jurisdictional Waters/Wetland Delineations; Impact analysis for programmatic and project specific CEQA/NEPA documentation. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Job Description :
Individual who can illuminate a unique awareness of, and sensitivity to, major regional, state, and local natural resource issues. Able to do extensive field work. Work will involve familiarity with the following: Western Riverside's Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan -HANS, Consistency Documents, Joint Project Review, etc.; California Department of Transportation -Natural Environmental Studies, etc.; Mitigation Banking -Instrument development, etc; Coastal Development Permitting; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP), including the permit exemption in Section 12(e). ::
